چکیده

The analysis for estimating operator’s activity and quantity of information in control rooms underground coal mines is presented this paper. Monitoring operators was conducted Rembas, Soko, Ibar, Jasenovac Stavalj. network models are used during the rooms. result proposed critical path model. application improves quality level research, making it more efficient. Most analysed related to normal alarm state data received from mine shaft response data. Results given according actual scope work depending on dynamics mines, via histogram changes average number activities per 1 h 24-h period, then hour insight into global view technological process with focus workers. Analysis paper determines relations between devices operators’ capabilities order get better ergonomic design

Gas Drainage Improvement in Underground Coal Mines

Effective gas management is vital to the success of the longwall mining in the Bulli seam, in the Southern Coalfield, Sydney Basin, NSW, Australia. The evolution of gas drainage methods and practices are discussed with respect to gas type, gas drainage lead time and prevailing geological conditions. Both underground to inseam drilling and surface to inseam drilling techniques are described at b...

Rock dusting considerations in underground coal mines

Rock dusting to prevent coal dust explosions has been in widespread use in U.S. underground coal mines since the early 1900s. Underground coal mining technology has changed significantly over this same time period, becoming highly mechanized and produces finer coal dust particles which are more explosive. Despite the advances in mining technology, mine-wide dust sampling practices have remained...

Evaluation of Work Positions used by Continuous Miner Operators in Underground Coal Mines

Operation of underground coal mine mobile equipment is usually done in a restricted workspace with reduced visibility. This work environment puts machine operators in awkward postures for tasks that require awareness of their surroundings and fast reactions to avoid hazardous situations. Using experienced equipment operators as a source, researchers conducted an investigation that developed a m...

Noise variability in underground room and pillar coal mines.

Noise in an underground coal mine has dominant components generated mainly from 3 sources: (a) continuous mining machines, (b) roof bolters, and (c) cars/vehicles used to transport personnel and/or coal. Each of these 3 noise sources also has a number of well-defined sub-sources with their own noise characteristics. Sound level meters were used to collect noise data in the form of instantaneous...
